Lawless Park is probably the most popular camping site in Cass County. Lawless Park is an 820-acre nature park that is open year-round. There are over seven miles of groomed cross-country ski trails for all levels of skiers. We have 15 rustic campsites with fire rings. Our trails have lake views and some have scenic lookout points. In addition, there are biking and hiking trails, Disc Golf, a volleyball court, fishing, picnicking, horseshoe pits, and inner tube sledding in winter (tubes provided). Located 9 miles east of Cassopolis, off M-60 and Lewis Lake Road. Groups welcomed!

Arthur Dodd Memorial Park – Overnight Camping

Many improvements were added to Dodd Park during the summer of 2017. Upgrades included the installation of a new bridge over the stretch of the Dowagiac River running through the park grounds, new restrooms near the two new cabins and a canoe/kayak launch. The department also plans to expand the park’s parking lot. The cabins have electricity and fire-rings for campfires, and will be ready for campers in the Fall of 2017.
