Marcellus Enrichment Initiative’s First Friday event series,
held annually between June and October on the First Friday of each month from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, serves as the centerpiece of their efforts.
The dates for the 2023 season are June 2, July 7, August 4, September 1, and October 6.
First Fridays happen downtown Marcellus Parks: Columbian Park which has a Gazebo at 150 E Main and the park next to Village Hall which is an empty lot.
Each event will feature live music, a farm & artisan market, food trucks serving light bites and full meals, as well as educational resources and family-friendly entertainment. The goal is to create a festive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for learning, connecting, and having fun!
Our June event will feature Marcellus band students playing live music in small ensembles! In the meantime, you can support your favorite young musicians by stopping by Amy’s Fabulous Diner to buy tickets for the band’s meat bundle raffle!
