Lucky Horse Equestrian Center

We Are a Full-Service Boarding and Lesson Equestrian Center located on 30+ rolling acres less than 1 mile North of downtown Granger, Indiana in Niles, Michigan at the corner of Cherry Road (IN) and Kline Road (MI).

Since opening our doors in 2007, we have served the Michiana community with quality boarding and competitive lesson programs.

Owner/Trainer/Coach Kerry Hilgendorf and Diane Shields, are lifelong horse enthusiasts, and daughter and mother.  LHEC is a family-owned and operated business that is the culmination of years of dreaming and planning.  Our goal is to bring horse and rider together in a comfortable, safe, and friendly environment where improvement and enjoyment can co-exist and thrive.

Fred Russ State Forest & Park

Awesome place with big trees and a beautiful, clean stream. There’s also lots of walking you can do, and horseback riders from all over come here. There are 4+ miles of trails for riding. Beautiful wildlife sancturary to ride in.
